Attention all youth cast members!!

You are all invited to the very first Thomson Leng Youth Music Theatre Valentines Disco! Show your love for Music Theatre by coming along for a fun packed evening.

Tickets for the night are only £4 but we are also asking that everyone brings a kittke something for the shared-table buffet to keep us all going through the night please!

Also seeing as it is a Valentines disco, we are asking that everyone wears at least one RED item! This can be anything from an item of clothing to accessories, nails, hair etc.. The more imaginative the better!

We hope to see as many of you there as possible for what promises to be a great night.

‘An Evening of SHOW QUIZNESS’

After the huge success of our ‘Geeks vs Gleeks’ evening, the same team return to bring you another fantastic night featuring a brand new quiz aswell as a new programme performed by members of Thomson-Leng Musical Society.

After such a fantastic previous reception, be sure to get your quiz team together and buy your tickets asap!

The evening is being held at THE FRIARY, Tullideph Road on FRIDAY 24TH FEBRUARY with doors at 7.30pm and the quiz to start at 8pm

Also included in your ticket is a buffet and disco, with a bar also available at the venue.

Thomson-Leng Youth Music Theatre offers young people a fantastic opportunity to take to the stage in a variety of productions which are produced to the highest possible standards.

At Thomson-Leng Musical Society we’re committed to keeping our ticket prices affordable in order to make our productions accessible to the widest possible audience. We are happy to announce that we are making available a limited number of heavily discounted tickets for group bookings for our performances of  “Little Shop of Horrors” at the Gardyne Theatre on Wednesday 16th – Saturday 19th November 2011.

To be eligible for this discount you must be a school pupil or higher/further education student. Ticket pricing will be as low as £6 per ticket for qualifying group bookings. The latest Youth Music Theatre cast newsletter is now available in the members section. We aim to provide an online newsletter each month from when the rehearsals recommence in August. This is one of the best ways to keep members up-to-date with events and show requirements.

The production team are pleased to announce the following cast for our 2011 Pantomime Cinderella:

Due to a change in rehearsal scheduling  for our other shows there will be NO PANTO REHEARSAL on Monday 13th June. The full cast is required on Monday 20th June 2011 at 7.30pm for a rehearsal to set the opening scene and have a taster of the choreography and singing for the show. In addition, anyone wishing some feedback on their audition will have the opportunity at this rehearsal.

On Monday 27th June 2011 only the panto principals are required for the read through on the script. This will be at 7.30pm in St Andrew’s Church Hall.

The casting committee are working away hard trying to finalise the cast for Cinderella. The standard was very high and the committee would like to thank all those who auditioned on Monday night. The final results are to be announced at the rehearsal next Monday 13th June, and this is to be followed by more singing with Richard and movement with Darren putting the cast through their paces.

The following two weeks of rehearsals are to be given to development work. The principals shall gather to work through the script to help develop the script and familiarise themselves with their character’s part. Full cast and chorus rehearsal commence in August when the hard work begins.

The Characters to be announced next Monday are :

Cinderella, Buttons, Fairy Godmother, Prince Charming, Dandini, Wicked Stepmother, The Baron, Ugly Sister 1, Ugly Sister 2, Saftie, Daftie &  Courage the Cat.

Our new Online Box Office is now open for business. Don’t miss your opportunity to see one (or all) of our forthcoming productions. Tickets purchased online can either be collected on the evening of the performance or posted to your home address (subject to a fee of 50 pence for admin and postage).

Seats are allocated on a first come first booked basis. If you have any special requirements please email tickets@tlms.net giving your booking reference number and name to enable us to deal with these. Requests for specific seats cannot be guaranteed.

Below are details of our terms & conditions that must be accepted before tickets can be purchased.

Tickets purchased from this website may not be exchanged or money refunded.

The Management reserves the right, in combination with any other statements or directives which may be shown on the ticket or as displayed on the premises to this website to:
a. refuse admission of the ticket holder to the premises
b. request the ticket holder to leave the premises and to take appropriate measure to enforce such a request
c. delay entry to latecomers until a suitable break or interval in the performance/event
d. make any change whatsoever in the performance/event owing to any unforeseen or unavoidable cause
e. cancel or abandon the performance/event for reasons beyond its control without notice and without being liable to pay any person any compensation or damage whatsoever other than, at The Management’s discretion, a possible percentage or maximum refund to the ticket holder of the value of the ticket.

THE USE OF CAMERAS, TAPE RECORDINGS OR VIDEO EQUIMENT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN DURING PERFORMANCE.

All tickets and any discounts are offered subject to availability at the time of booking.

We will send confirmation that we have received of your order by e-mail, but please note that this does not guarantee the ticket sale.

Tickets will remain your property. You may not sell it to a third party or use it for any commercial or promotional purpose without our consent.

Tickets are not transferable to another concert /event unless you are advised otherwise. Please take care of your tickets, as we may not be able to issue duplicates.

Please check your tickets carefully, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.

If you are buying tickets at least 5 days in advance of the event we can post them to you for an administration fee, otherwise they will be available for your collection as advised.

Every member of the audience must possess a valid ticket. Tickets that have been altered or defaced will be deemed invalid and you may be refused entry. We reserve the right to alter the location of your seat without prior notice.
