members of Thomson-Leng Musical Society and Thomson-Leng
Youth Music Theatre provided entertainment at concerts
for the Dundee Branch of Save the Children Fund at Cortachy
Castle, near Kirriemuir on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th
June 2007. The event, hosted by The Earl of Airlie,
was attended by over 200 people, and the Earl thanked
the Society for the high-class level of entertainment
provided. The concert party sang a selection of songs
from different musicals and shows, many that the society
have previously performed over the years. |

people gathered on Monday 11th June 2007, in The Fort
Bar, Broughty Ferry, Dundee for the second annual Quiz
Night. The competition was fierce, but in the end there
had to be a winner. The Thomson-Leng Youth Music Theatre
certainly was a winner on this occasion. £475
was raised for the Music Theatre funds as a result of
raffles and an auction.The committee would like to thank
those who attended and gave generously to the evening.. |
